Has anyone had a problem with the hydro fan on their GC (busted blades)? I have seen quite a few examples on the Kubota forum, but haven't seen much on here about it.

some here have broken blades off there fans as well.I haven't yet and doubt if I will as I have a solution.Any time I take mine into the rough I put my homemade skid plate and fan guard on.:thumbsup:Larry
I've replaced 2 in 6 years...if a stick is really determined it will find it's wat in there...the fans are pretty cheap and it only takes about 20 minutes to change. You can do everything from under the tractor...loosen the driveshaft yoke pinch bolt, slide toward front of tractor...remove 2 bolts on fan and discard...lather ,rinse, repeat.
