I also have a Kubota M95X and i need more hp. I have no problems with weight because i mostly use 3pth shank type implements that pull my tractor towards the ground.

For traction i tried a few things and figured to take out to remove the load in my tires and put tire pressure very low. 18psi up front and 12psi in back. I keep a close eye on those pressures and now i pull uphill and through mud much easier. I have never got stuck. Just wish sometimes in when i hit those hills slopes and wet spots that i had a few more hp. I'm thinking of getting duals some time.

Does the 95x have the same motor as the 108x? Sometimes they just add an intercooler to get the extra air in so the pump can be turned up a bit.

Zuki....

All the large frame units are intercooled.

I'll rake the old style individual injection line engines over common rail anyday.

If you want more balls, put a heavier spring on the wastegate butterfly.

That sounds simple... is it? Are there potential consequences to this modification? I only want another 10-15 hp. Does heavier spring also require a bigger actuator diaphragm?

Adjust the rack stop screw on the pump. Couple that with more boost and you can add a good bit of power.

Drop another gear. Sometimes in heavy land you cant run 8mph.

"Drop another gear."

Uhg.. wish it was that simple. When i hit those hills and wet spots I'm happy if i can maintain 3mph, 8mph is a dream to me. I prefer to run all of my heavy tillage (9 shank modified Bush Hog 1560 mulching chisel plow with full coverage sweeps and heavy straight points, JD 425 offset disks on 23" concave [32]disks), 5mph and no more then 6mph. These are the only trailing primary tillage equipment I use. All my other heavy tillage equipment is 3pth and no problems with them.
