I wired my payment today for a 4720 at Bader and Sons in Portland MI. It's a 2007 with 761 hrs. and with 400 cx loader, mid pto, 72" mid mount deck, I-match, rear svc, rear pto, cab, heat, a/c (YEAH), radio, I-pod connections, air ride seat, rear wheel weights, loaded tires, front and rear work lights, mirrors, front and rear wipers, and loaded tires.

Only problem is, I'm in NC. The salesman was very helpful. I felt comfortable with the deal. I had my local guys check the warranty history, and it has never had any warranty repairs. I couldn't find anything on the internet negative about Bader and Sons.

I'm using UShip to solicit bids for delivery. I'm a little nervous about it, but am hoping the deal will be uneventful.

The price was right. (Compared to everything I've seen lately) I found it on Machinefinder listed for 27900.

Well, if it helps...I bought my 790 in 2004 online from a dealer in VA (I'm in PA).
It turned out quite well, and I owned the tractor for 6 good years.

Downside may be your dealer for work...unless the 4720 is still in warranty, they have no obligation to honor any other dealer's warranty. Fortunately, I had no issues with the tractor and still bought my parts from my local guy...who sold me my next (and current) tractor.

Best of luck with your tractor!

All will be fine ... I bought a repo in Florida and used uship all went very well. Warranty transfered and the local dealer honors it as well.

I'm from Michigan, their used to be a Bader and Sons right next to my house but they sold that location for some reason. Salesmen were always very helpful. Bought my last tractor from them. They've never done me wrong. Sounds like one great machine.

Be sure to post pics when you get it!!

It was delivered this morning at 12:30 AM. I flipped switches, and moved levers around until about 1:15 AM. How nice is this thing! So far, it seems to be almost perfect. I'll give it a good test run today, and get some pictures. The guy drove 13 hrs in a pouring rain storm and a couple of hours through an area with a tornado watch. I suppose the term "bless his heart" comes into play here.
More to come, but at first it looks like a great tractor, and a deal done with no problems.

I most certainly hope so!!
But remember, it is a used tractor...so don't expect "perfect".

Good luck to you!!
