I found the Link Wiz 3pt quick hitch system similar to the Pats system just a cheaper version. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this system? I just need it for my rear blade for the winter and I don't want to spend the big bucks.

Well, if winter time connectivity of a rear blade is your only need, I don't see any requirement for any kind of rear quick attach. Just hook up your blade the old fashioned way, leave it connected all winter, and disconnect it in the spring. That way, you spend no extra bucks.

Welcome to TBN... could you put information in your profile so we can know your interests, equipment available, etc... it helps to better tailor answers to questions.

I have the PATS system and love it, but then I use multiple rear attachments all year long.

I don't have the room to leave it connected or I would. The wife wants to park in the garage. The PATS system looks more practical than the big quick hitch setups. Just looking for a cheaper solution.

I got it... yes, PATS is totally practical.... it automatically clips itself closed so you don't have to get down to hook up. Just back up, lift 3PH and go. Since space is a problem for you, consider putting your implement on a dolly with casters. It will allow you to easily move the implement into position for hookup and out of the way when not in use.... otherwise, it kinda just sits where you drop it. Casters from Harbor Freight... use the ones rated for 330 lbs each, 5 inch diameter.

Be aware that any lower link extension you use may require that you ALSO get a longer top link since they put the connection further to the rear.

I looked at the Link Wiz, but I went with these because I didn't like the way the cheaper ones mounted, and they appear to be cast iron rather than steel. They also keep the attachment center in the same place (but slightly higher), rather than moving it behind the lower arm like the cheaper ones do. So far I have been happy with them. I do like the idea of Pat's being self latching, but you have to get off to connect the PTO and top link anyway, so I don't find inserting the pin a big deal at all. Stan

I bought these last month and they work OK. With a some modification they can work better.

Take a look at these photo's. Out of the box they sway side to side and tend to hang down about ten degree toward the implement.

For the money there not bad, but then again I was hoping for a little better fit.

Gotta agree with ndnparts, these are the way to go. I have had zero problems and the guys there are second to none. Good investment.

Do any of these quick hitch solutions change the PTO length required? Given my recent snowblower incident, the possibility came to mind.
