I have a Kioti dk4510 ordered. The dealer says there is no hand crank tilt option for it. Is there a work around here besides going to an aftermarket hydraulic top and tilt? Will a 35 series fit? SE version fit? Anyone know of an aftermarket product? Help!

Might be able to go with an aftermarket crank unit. I'd think that one could also just take something say from an NX (or whatever- identify ranges needed) and re-weld the stirrups to match the right angles on the link arms. Seems kind of odd that Kioti doesn't provide such. But, I've only ever used the hand-crank on my NX once: as such a non crank style wouldn't really have a lot of concern for me; yes, I wouldn't mind having an hydraulic tilt (to go along with my hydraulic top link), but I seem to get by without one.

Searously, ive never seen a unit with a 3 point without the manual tilt.

but i got rid of my manual and went with a hydraulic top link. Was easier than old hand crank.

I am referring to the tilt function - not the top link function.

Usually, not always, two pairs of remotes are added to control Top Link and right Lifting Rod (tilt) during one dealer service.

Crank mechanical tilt is done with a "leveling box".

There are always scads available on eBay:

It's not that it's not adjustable. The facotry ones appear to be twist (similar to what a lot of manual top links use for adjusting).

And thanks to Jeff for providing the actual term for these things: "leveling box," which is not to be confused with the thing that might hang from beyond the "leveling box" which is a box that's made for leveling (box blade or such)! :D

Though there may not be a hand crank there will be a screw mechanism in the middle of the right Lifting Rod that provides tilt. I am 74 years old and have no trouble manually adjusting the screw adjustment mechanism with the tractor stopped. It is important to grease the mech regularly.

Yeah - manual screw - an interesting term - but quite the PIA if you have a heavy implement on wether you are well lubed or not.

I haven't seen a leveling box made specifically for Kioti, but you should be able to find something that'll work. They aren't expensive at all, even if you need to modify it.

one place, even has one with no fork so could find one with the right angle: leveling rods and boxes
