Hi Doofy. My tractor is embarrassingly naked right now. All the sheet metal except the fenders is off awaiting the radiator shop to finish their work. Not only that, but I'm replacing the axle pivot pin since its stripped down this far. The axle looks OK. It only needs a new bushing, but the support tray has about 1/8-inch movement at the front and worn threads at the top of the threaded hole at the rear. Now, I'm trying to figure my next move. It may be a machine shop. I'm open to suggestions. Have a good day!
There is nothing more fulfilling than keeping an old friend up and running. These old beasts were built to work and be kept running and working for ever, it seems like.
