I am having problems starting this machine. I have a spark and the machine cranks. I sprayed some starter fluid in the carburetor, but there is no combustion. Please advise as to what I should do next to diagnose the starting issue. Thank you

I suggest a compression test. If you have spark and fuel sounds like the missing link is compression. Possibly a valve stuck open.
