Grademaster vs Roadboss?

Anyone compared the 2?

Semi local dealer has a 6' Grademaster for $1000, haven't been to look yet but checked it out on website and looks like a nice unit.

I had sent an email to Roadboss last week and they called this morning and will be in my area this weekend. They'd like to stop by and demo the unit for me. I asked about price of 6' unit and was quoted $2400.

So has anyone compared these 2? Why the huge price difference?

i've got a 6' roadboss, it's quite a piece of metal. It's big and heavy, there's a lot of steel in it.
but the free demo is a deal
you get to see how it works on your land and with your tractor.
if you don't like it, they load it back up and you're out nothing but some time

I've used my neighbors Grademaster on my gravel drive and it works really well. It doesn't work as well on softer material. Can't compare however, since I'm unfamiliar with the Roadboss.

After reviewing both companies webpages, both products appear very capable of an occasional road grade. Unless I planned on making a living with one or the other, I'd opt for the lower cost unit every time.

Picked up the grademaster this afternoon, hopefully get a chance to try it out sometime this weekend.

Couldn't see spending more than twice as much for what seems to be virtually the same equiptment. I would have got a standard grader blade and practiced alot before i spent $2400 anyway.
