gotmy new "Used" Toy

Brought home my new used rototiller, but it will be months before it will be digging up earth around here.

It is a 2000 Howard HR4 rotovator. In really good shape just etching to get out there and dig something up!

But with this on the ground one must wait!

They're pretty "bouncy" when going thru 48" of frost....

Hey couldn't you use that to groom ski trails or snowmobile trails while you're waiting for spring.

Ductape: Yea the guy had it listed on CL as an attachment for his tractor. Ended up buying the tiller and he still has the tractor sitting there. Was in a heated barn. Tractor is treated better than some humans!

wedge40: Darn I might try that on the snowmobile trail behind the house! Sure they would be happy to see that.

john_bud: Our frost isn't that deep this year seeing we have about six feet of snow on top of the ground. But it is in the high 40's today and with a week or so of these temperatures, who knows we might see ground early.

Barneyhunts: I guess it would be fun, but I think I will wait until the frost is gone..............might need the snowblower still this winter.

texasjohn: We do about two acres in tillage right now, so I am thinking of adding a couple more acres of raspberries. This should be a great help for that job.

That's one advantage of dirt floors in pole barns.

Mine worked good for ballast when I cleard snow with the BX1500 and front blade ......... .
