Good morning, the low is 11 and going to a high of 27°F. Wind SE 9 mph. 60% chance of flurries.

Yesterday I set up an Excel program to track the fuel usage in the Kioti. At least I can say I did something productive.

There is nothing planned for today, so will conserve energy.

Have a safe day all

Good Tractor Morning Ponytug,
It split so cleanly, and especially easily when it was -10F or colder, but yes, hard as a rock
Indeed it did ponytug. Didn’t need a splitter when really cold out, and you didn’t need to swing the maul that hard either 😉

Good Tractor Morning,
Ct, 9 to start going to 32. Honestly it never made it past 25 yesterday, so I take the weather prediction with a grain of salt 😉

Work not too bad yesterday until the next to the last delivery. The chain came off for the hose reel rewind. Had to muscle the hose back onto the reel before leaving.
Call my boss and tell him the situation, and the last stop the people are out of oil 😳 So I went to the last stop and had to do the reel by hand, of course this is all in the dark 😒. He really needs to get the whole chain and reel mechanism rebuilt with new chain and a proper tensioner 😉

Today looks to be mostly inside with these temps.

Hope all have a great day 🙏

Good morning! Awful late getting to Christmas lights this year, just too many projects trying to get finished during our last warmer days of November and early December, but I think I'd better get some up today before the "wintery mix" hits tomorrow.

Heck, I was just doing the final mowing of the lawn two days ago in a brief afternoon above freezing, and then final leaf clean-out yesterday at 20F.

Two lit wreaths went up on the house yesterday afternoon, which is step 1 of about 100, in terms of the amount of lights we usually put up.

22 outside this AM right now, heading to lower 30's. May not get above freezing.

Busy day yesterday, then wife interrupted me and took me off to a local coffee shop. I usually don't drink coffee past 9AM. Got some more anyway, good thing too. Forgot last night that I needed to get the well house heat lamp plugged in. So in the dark, cold night I was moving the top cover (weighs a few hundred pounds) off and dropped the electric into the light. Good thing I was wide awake.

Today it's a city run in a few, real jobs.

Coffee maker broke yesterday, cannot reset it. This AM it was old fashioned drip with a paper towel as a filter. Seems someone took my cone filter and paper filters. I'll have to track them down later.

Daughter in Petersburg, VA reported 8 inches of real snow.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Good morning TBN!!
29 this morning getting to the 40s and maybe a peek of sun this afternoon. Got a little snow last evening but no accumulation, Wife was happy,

Took the day off yesterday and mostly just watched TV. Even had a fire. We don't heat with wood so fires are for ambiance only. Spent 15 years heating with wood only keeping three burners running all winter. Cut haul split stack. All by hand. Had enough of it.

Random thought. All of my Craftsman tools and many others I bought new are now vintage!
From Google: "Generally 20-99 years old; older than retro, younger than antique."
I guess it's a good thing I am not "antique" yet. Has to be a 100 years old for that.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
