Good morning!!!!

Morning to all;
From the weather reports looks like Roy is going to get some sloppy wet snow today and tomorrow.
Just a few miles east of him and I'm forecast for just a bit of sloppy snow and some rain and cold.
Had let the coal fire go out and been having the windows and doors open,
changed that this morning early came out at 4 AM and am in the process of lighting off and filling the coal stove.
Looks like it will be going again till Sunday evening.
Been fairly quiet in my area some spring tillage getting started, most fields still to wet to get on and it's a bit early.
Fences getting fixed and parts and fertilizer ordered, fertilizer cart covering some ground before the rain gets here.

Interesting thoughts and theorys on the covid vaccine and people response to it.
I had almost no response or reaction even to the second shot, were many people felt preety poor and even called off
from the reaction to the second shot.
Now I'm been hearing the ones that had the more severe reaction to the second shot are better equipped to handle the real thing
as there body will attack faster and harder.

Everyone stay safe and get well,
spring should be passing by soon.

P.S. at this time no intention of plowing snow, also all my snow tires are off the vehicles.

Good morning, 34F and going to a high of 48. Wind NW 2 mph. 40% chance of showers.

The decision has been made, DIL goes to hospice tomorrow at 11.

The kitten that ran off just happens to be the one that got his rabies shot, so I am not all that worried about him. I also saw a gray cat that looks a lot like him this morning, but as soon as he saw me he was off and gone. I guess he figures he is in trouble for staying out for three days. His playmate/brother is constantly 'calling' for him.

My snow tires came off last week, the earliest I've taken them off.

It is too cold for me to do anything outside, so I guess today will be an energy conservation day.

Have a safe day all

54 and rain is ending...going to 69.

L4N, praying for your DIL.

Glad you're feeling better, Kyle.

Popgadget, just nothing like JIT. Nice looking honey wagon.

Finished splitting the rest of the rounds and stacked them on my pallets. Speaking of JIT, I towed my splitter out of the woods and up the hill into the shelter just before the rain started. I still have another load on the ground to fetch, but will need to build a couple more pallets...wish RNG's factory was closer. I'm pretty much out of scrap lumber the right size.

The day before I mowed the yard and paths and a small section of field, and forgot to say how my orange Kubota mower turned green/yellow from pollen.

The wrens on our porch are now feeding their chicks, and dive bombing the chipmunk that hangs out there...leaves all the birds alone.

Good Morning
It’s 52 and overcast, with a high of 59 and chance of light rain throughout the day, clearing this evening.

Yesterday was productive, but with detours from what I planned.
However, I stayed busy enough to forget to notice if I had any adverse effects from the second shot of Pfizer the day before.

Today will be a shop day, but as I have to go to Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas tomorrow, I’ll have to get all the customs paperwork done today, and verify that the passengers have their COVID tests and travel visas. I hate paperwork, especially paperwork dealing with bureaucracy.
Have someone driving in from Long Island o pick up a speaker, which saves me having to pack it up and ship it. Also still have to backfill and seed or sod over septic tank lid, but that might wait for Saturday. Sons are coming this morning to carry old sofa bed out of the second floor of the shop and put at the curb for pickup. Maybe they will bring the new furniture up over the weekend after I clean up and make room for it.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 5:00AM. Sunny. High 77F. Winds light and variable.
The 10-day predicts highs in the 80s every day, with no sign of rain. So much for spring.

Sounds like you're making some good progress on your firewood, Bill.

I've been meaning to get my septic tanks pumped too, Paul, but have been holding off hoping some rain would soften the ground covering up the lids. Now it looks like I'll either wait another year, or get out a sprinkler and hose.

I've managed to push the little cleared area a lot farther than I thought, to the point where the tractor is having trouble finding enough traction to get back up the hill. There are two good sized dead oaks at the bottom, and I think I'll call a halt once I pull them down with logging chain. Still some manzanita long one side I'll clean up, then start pushing the other way. Still very surpised and pleased at how well the grapple is stripping the vegetation off the ground, saving hours and hours of backbreaking work.

Upgraded the Ethernet switch in the garage to an 8 port model yesterday, and the cable out to the generator stopped working. The cable tester found several open leads, so I put new connectors on both ends to fix it. Not what I had in mind to do yesterday, turning a ten minute job into an hour of head scratching and hiking up and down the hill, but the tester showed the way and I got to use the new wire untwisting/straightening tools and wire scissors, which made the job a little easier.

Yesterday morning I load tested the gate opener battery after the charger said it was fully charged, and it passed, though not with a lot of room to spare. Took the rest of the day to get back to full, also not a good sign. I'll have to go through my receipts and see what kind of guarantee Walmart has on it to see if it's worth while making a claim.

Town run this afternoon, but should be able to get those trees down before I leave.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!
