Good morning!!!!

We had a few showers last night. Today looks to be dry in the daytime, so I've been out early to make a start on more pointing. Having a coffe now and catching up here while giving my arm a short break before mixing the next batch of mortar. Hopefully I will be finished in time to rig up a tarpaulin before the rain starts.

Wngsprd, conditions in your woods must be to Mrs does's liking for her to have triplets.

Poured second cup of coffee as dawn is arriving. 41 F - time to put the new floating dock in, then work on the leaky 1920’s boathouse roof. Rain is on the way, but not until about 10 o’clock tonight. A little chilly, but it keeps you from getting all sweated up! Leaves are starting to turn nicely, but not the brilliant Reds of the maples just yet.

Good morning! Happy October 1. 69˚ heading into the 80˚s.
Wngsprd, good pic, the triplets can have 3 different fathers and the fact that there are triplets means that forage food is plentiful.

The Sun City great fall parking lot garage sale is this Saturday. Time to clean out the garage. We have one day to set up Friday, and then Saturday at exactly 8am the horn goes off the gates are open and it's like a Black Friday sale for four hours only. Each participant gets a table and a parking space to display their stuff. There are 175 parking spaces. Conveniently there is a Large Goodwill truck also in the parking lot for any unsold items you don't want to haul back home. I just have to refrain from buying more stuff after selling my stuff.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 52° with rain this morning. Heading to 57° with more rain. Looks like we are in for a good amount of rain today and tomorrow. Already have over 1/2" since 5 am. Got yesterday's projects done. NASCAR was going my way until last few yards of race. JJ failed me again. Need to start winterizing things today. Change oil in tractor and lawnmower. Start picking up items that will freeze.

Happy belated Anniversary Mr and Mrs bakerg !!!!

Randy, current plan is working. Maybe. :D

wngsprd, great picture.

Eric, I think newbury found the spy post and linked it. I went back many pages to find it. Then forgot to link it. :confused2:

Good Morning All.

I agree on our Boy Jimmy. Had he just "accepted" a 2nd place .... he'd still be in the Round of 12. He said his goal was for a win and not second place. Oh well ..... there's next year I guess. My wife's Boy Kevin is still in it.

Back to normal temperature this morning 32°, yesterday was windy and sunny in the mid 70's. Today is going to be mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower in the low 70's. The forecast shows a chance of rain almost every day this week. It might be snow here if the temperature drops like they are saying.

The deer season opened this morning and I just heard the first shot. I'm not hunting deer this year but Elk season opens in two weeks.

Not much planed for today. Still working on getting stuff together for the hunt in November. I should get the snow blower on the tractor before it snows. Today might be a good day to do that.

Happy anniversary to sodamo and bakerg.

Have a good start to the week.
CWB.

69° this morning and forecast for is for 85° for a high today.

We got about 1/2" of rain yesterday afternoon when I was cutting one of our pastures. More rain is forecast for this afternoon.

Pushed over some dead trees yesterday morning and got them piled up. Will take them to the burn pile later on.

Safe travels home Drew!

Have a great 1st day of October!

Prayers to all.

Good Morning!!!! 63F @ 6:30AM. Generally cloudy. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 72F. Winds light and variable.

I heard raindrops falling on the porch cover for a few seconds in this morning's wee hours, the skies now are back to partly cloudy but the radar forecast still has a chance of showers for later this morning. The tree frogs seem happy with the situation, though, as they're calling back and forth to each other with their morning greetings.

The mountain lion is back again with its low moaning call, still hoping for a shot at a goat or a sheep...

Not sure what that little motorcycle is, Don, but I bet that young man is quite proud of it! Leave your money at home on garage sale day and you'll at least be guaranteed to break even.

Finished installing mudflaps on the van yesterday, and only got a look at the steel door that goes above the engine. There is a sort of stuffing held in by plastic on the engine side of the door, and it looks to be made from excelsior. I'll try to light a match to some today, and if it burns it will be removed. I have a rock wool blanket that has an aluminized layer on one side that will replace it. I also found nice sturdy steel ribs holding the excelsior in place instead of the plastic webbing VW placed under the foam of the plastic door. That should make mounting the Blazecut more secure by using loop clamps instead of plastic zip ties. There should be a box full of various sizes somewhere up in the rafters.:confused2:

The mechanic suspects that the propeller shaft to the front differential on the van isn't properly balanced, so today I'll have a talk with a local shop that balances drive shafts and see if I can make arrangements for them to take a look at it. While I'm under the van removing the shaft, I'll see if there isn't some obvious way to mount a laser on the transaxle output shaft and differential input shaft to help better gauge their alignment.

Also installed grip heaters on the old BMW yesterday, and still have a few connections to make to wire in the pulse width modulated temperature controller. It's also a setup I've used before, and is very reliable.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

Pretty weather but way above normal, above 80 for most of the next 10 days, lows upper 50s, should be about 71/49.

Nice picture wngsprd.

I have a bad relay in my HVAC system, sometimes the circulation blower doesn’t come on with the unit and I gave to turn it off and back on manually. One more thing to do I guess, if I can still get under the house and back out.

Good day all and prayers to all.

71ーF and .66 inches rain

Today is our 35th wedding anniversary. Taking wife to town for leisurely Sunday brunch at Hilo Hawaiian, Queens Court.

Spent a few hours yesterday wire brushing rust from tools, wiping with PB Blaster. Have to find some of that Fluid Film you guys talk about.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Congrats!

Middle daughter came Thursday and stayed through Saturday, consolidating their stuff into shop loft and storage shed, to make room for my Dad's travel trailer in shop and youngest daughter's car in garage. She also brought 6 evergreens (their are taking them out for building site, we wanted some trees).. Most 4-6', one taller. We were all very tired Saturday evening, then full day yesterday with church and company.
