66F now high low 90's :( starting Thursday seasonal temps of mid 70's :)

Need some rain, most of brooks streams are at trickle or not at all.

To hot even putter in or outside, even critters keeping low profile.

Enjoy the day all.

71 going to 89 and humid. Maybe some t-storm rain tonight.

Cooked dove on the gas (sorry, Roy) grill last night. Yummy. But broke a heat diffuser. Looked up the part from the manufacturer...$90 for the 3 I need...found a set of 4, exact part numbers, on Amazon and they are also stainless steel and also comes with 4 burners for $45...so ordered them. Crazy price difference, but I'll have to wait until the new ones get here and fit to declare victory.

If the AC is running at 5am, it is a sure bet that it will be sticky warm walking the dog and it sure was!

I bet if I go look at weather report there's a T-storm brewing for later today...

I seem to have woke up tired and I'm a feared I might be catching something and I do not have time for a stupid cold!

I hope all-O-y'all are doing fine and dandy.

Be well,
David

Good morning! 75˚ heading to the triple digits one more day this year - hopefully, and then a cool front will push through at 6 PM increasing our chance of rain and dropping high temps down ten degrees. Everything is extremely dry with only 1/10" rain since July 4th.

The volleyball net is down and the triangles are put away for the next 9 months, in a few months the winter cover will be put on and winter landscaping work will begin. I see lots of grapple work and dirt work in my future to clean up the creeks that go through the fence line from the floods last spring.

yup, fine and dandy here David/MFW. And if you look at the radar, you bet, coming at you....

went on patrol looking for red ant hills, the last dozen that popped up are now done, but after the next rain, there will always be more.
These things are like fleas, ready to jump on your property...

I realized this morning that I can't use the dryer sheets any more. They seem to make me emit something delicious to the green head flies when I sweat, which is most of the time. I'd rather have wrinkles than get bitten every time I go out.

69 this morning and headed to 84 today. The cold front is sitting right on top of me according to the weather map. .17" of rain this morning looks like a break till lunch then rain rest of day.

Have some errands and bills to take care of. Means 2-3 hours on the road. Then get an assessment of the damage done last night by catch crew. I know they broke one feed line but need to check to see what else was done. Then call it in so they can get a repair guy out here. They're really good about fixing what they break. Accidents happen and they usually break something here 1-2 times a year. It's really dark during catch. Can't use any white light so it's all red, blue and amber. Birds won't move much under those lights, but under white lights they'd run. And people don't see as well either.

Still need to move cows to new pasture. Up to 3 calves. For all of those wanting cattle got an email this morning a guy in Texas is selling 2200 head of cows in a dispersement sale. Kev you and Don could have all you want with numbers like that.

He wants to do a barn in every state. I have pictures of a couple of them.

There are a few youtube videos of his work, including a "drone" video.
