Good Morning! 10:58am is still morning, right.

Just checking back in here and want to wish everyone Merry Christmas!

Hope you ALL had a great Thanksgiving!

Cold and wet in east Texas today. Will be back in central Texas soon and have been extremely busy with no sign it will let up.

Everyone stay warm, dry and send prayers for our Nation!
Merry Christmas. Welcome back?

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 5.5C and it's presently 18.2C, mostly cloudy & fairly calm. There was 6.0mm in the gauge @ 0900.

I'm not sure what I'll get up to today. Maybe mow around the house/DW and give the firewood a day to dry out from all of the rain.

That's about it, take care all.

Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 7° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 29° with cloudy skies. Got snow cleared form driveway and walkway. Cleared an area for Sassy. She cannot walk in 6" and deeper snow. No plans for today except stay warm.
What is this white stuff. Where are my nuts?! I left them around here someplace.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.
Ok, I'm gonna say it. If that squirrel is a boy squirrel, his nuts are in the snow.

Finally have an empty house from company. We should be good for the next few months.

Today, I really need to get to the hardware store. It just kept getting put off due to entertaining. LOL.
Or maybe being pretty much down and out for weeks just maybe 10 days ago, might have had something to do with it.

Good Morning
33° and sunny, wont make it to 40, but sun will continue.

Yesterday was a nice leisurely pace. Drew came over with his walnut, we made short work of that. Ironically, we did not use his brand new ogee bit, he opted for a shape that i already had a bit for. So now i have a nice ogee bit in my bit collection.

He also brought his drain hose wrench for the RV. I measured it up and made a drawing to run on the plasma cutter, but also 3D printed one to test the fit. My guess is that the printed one would work fine.

Wife and son were rounding up feral cats at neighbors to get them vaccinated and neutered, and both of them managed to get bit. So off they went to get their own shots, the ER pretty much insisted that they get rabies shots as well.
Today started with the backup alarm of the propane truck. He left about 300 gallons lighter.
I’ve got to clean out the fireplace and reload it for the next fire. I would like to move things around in the shop, burying the Lazer, which usually lives between the tractor and the door.
For the winter, the tractor is backed in with the snowplow and counterweight mounted and ready to go.
At the moment, the loader isn’t mounted, and has a bucket rather than blade attached. So it will be a bit of a project to get “snow ready”.
Not a lot else planned, oddfellows meeting tonight, likely meet friends for lunch.
Sir, I hope your wife and son do not get sick. What a mess. PM me if you want to know how to deal with that situation before getting bitten.

The walnut board came out looking really nice. Do you make just 1 pass with the router or go over it a 2nd time? Carbide bit?

I took a quick pic of the inside of our new unit. Wondering about the software now and how you pick solid bodies to change colors or what? Guess there may be some set up and learning time ahead.

Right now is crunch time for our seniors about to graduate. They all have capstone projects due. They have been working on them off and on for 8 months. But they really don't start ordering any hardware or parts until about 3 months ago. I end up trying to help as many teams as I have time, to help them with making parts that work. I help with early design for manufacturing too.

I'm trying to download MasterCam Learning Edition, but my slow internet, or their slow server is fouling me up. Trying again tonight. Having to reload it on this new to me computer. You can't make Gcode with it, but you can learn to program and simulate. Wish I had Starlink.

Son made his first B grade in school this year. Spanish. Guess I have to ground him for a month. LOL.

Prayers for our team, our nation, and peace around the world. Todo el Mundo.

good morning all
no idea why I woke up this early but enjoying my coffee and looking at weather radar
going to be a mess this morning, freezing rain, an inch of snow.
going to decide mid morning whether I really want to venture out in this just to do lunch with a friend.
my homemade mushroom soup will last another day.

made appt for full torso CT scan next week, my 5 year one that hopefully will get me discharged from oncologist.
That would be a nice christmas present

Kyle, I think you have one of the most fascinating jobs, working with new tech, young minds and passing along
really useful skills.

Coffee has finished brewing. 23° with some snow falling. Heading to 30° with cloudy skies. 2" of snow overnight. Will have to clean walkways of snow today. Have a couple of small projects to do today in shop. Rest of the day will be spent staying warm in the house.

Morning all!
Currently 21 going to a forecast 30-32.
Buppies it looks like your correct. up to 9 inches forecast for here. Schools are already canceled. I was out and about yesterday topping off all the fuel cans and staging shovels and scrapers. Ready as I can be.

Of course I got a message from the neighbor asking if I could swap out his mower to the snow thrower! Always last minute! Got the job all done and his water pump started leaking all over! I told him to call the dealer and see when and if they could get it done as he has the insurance. If they can't get him in quick I might see about getting it changed for him. Youtube here I come. Lol! In the mean time I told him to keep it filled and only use sparingly.

Still having issues and have a doc appointment early this morning. Tuesday so headed out for breakfast with the neighbor. Not sure if anything else will get done today. Will be waiting for the storm to end.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
