Drew do you use a pressure regulator on water line when hooked to city water. Some RV parks have water pressure over 100 psi. RV water systems are tested at 50 psi.

I find this software helpful not only in showing the weather, which currently is clear everywhere, but also the time where I'm going after the time zone change.

yes, yesterday's was like a fire hose, 115psi and the campground says they will lend you a regulator if needed. I have the one with a pressure gauge in it, showing max restricted pressure which I think is around 45 psi
this is one I bought last year, stays hooked up all the time to my potable water hose. I also have another hose technically for black water, but without the regulator, makes a great washdown hose.
yes, I sure would not want to tax this cheesy plumbing any more.

Good Morning!!!! 78F @ 4:45AM back in Yankee Hill this morning. Plentiful sunshine. Hot. High 104F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

I remember the Badlands being worth the visit, Drew. Mostly just a drive through experience, but it's been many years since I was there.

Smooth trip up yesterday, but really hot temps after noon. 104 passing through Sacramento, 100 in Chico while I was running errands. I started the A/C at the old house at 2AM yesterday, so it was nice and cool inside when I got here. Only glitch was a dead battery on the gate opener, but I was able to get the opener disconnected to get in. Battery is dated 2016, so that's part of the problem. But I also suspect the charger isn't working properly, too.

PG&E will have contractors out using a drone to check a couple power poles this morning, so I'll be up at the gate first thing to get it open for them. I brought a few cans of spray paint to give the gate a freshening up, so I'll get that done before it gets too hot. I'll be inside doing paperwork most of the rest of the day, and maybe some cleaning. The new house came with a Swifter, so I brought it up this trip along with a new box of pads to see how well it works on the tile and engineered flooring. Not expecting miracles, but anything helps.

TGIF gang!

I had a Watts regulator that looks just like that.

Morning all, 58 going to 79 and cloudy.
Today son turns 17.

Got garage cleaned up and ping pong table ready for tomorrows birthday party. Out to dinner tonight.

Speaking of road maintenance. Though the town truck came through, they just cut back stuff the is in the road or over it.
So I need to get back out there and cut back the stiltgrass. Will wait until deep winter to cut back the brush.
However the cleanup I have been doing to the road area has helped out immensely and this years cleanup will be easier.

Be well,

good morning, 59 going to 79 and sunny

Took wife to get infusion and mowed yesterday. More mowing on tap today. Brought the splitter battery into the barn and hooked it up to the battery tender. Set up an extension cord to do the same to the ZT battery. The trees are overhanging on the road but fortunately the tree cutters have started on the far end of our road. Propane was delivered 230 gallons need to pay the bill. Filled up the van with diesel 2,45 a gallon.

The problem with a private contractor on your property using drones is you don't know what they are recording or exactly how they will use it. It may differ from what you are told, and how would you know? My experience with PGE is their contractors "run wild" without supervision, often doing whatever they want.

Such as: will their drone find any structures not in code compliance which would result in a report to the County? Will the drone see someone target shooting who has a child with them, resulting in a report to the Sheriff? Does your house need a fresh coat of paint? The drone footage collected could be shared (even sold to) home improvement contractors wanting to target their sales pitches to people that have houses with tired paint.

Anyway, good luck with the drone. It is a very slippery slope of allowing others to film your property and potentially maintain a permanent record which you have no control over.

60F going to a hot sunny 95F. The news said this is a very hot summer compared to the past. Not record-breaking, but up there. It feels like it!

Everyone have a great day !!!

[Update: just checked the cameras at our CA ranch and saw a Bobcat with cub walk by. Busy year for wildlife, now a Bobcat with a cub, before that a Cougar with a cub, and a Bear with two cubs.
