Does anybody have any experience with Geo Boy mulchers? I don't see many reviews on these machines and was wondering what kind of support is offered from the company. All of the local ROW crews use the Jaraff sky trimmers and they seem pleased with their machines and I'm assuming that Jaraff and Geo Boy are joined companies. For years I've considering expanding our operation to include mulching and the rubber tire version of this machine appeals to me simply because it appears a little more robust than the CTL's but doesn't have the weight of the larger rubber tire carriers. You guys give me your 2 cents worth.

No Experience with Geoboy but if your looking for a smaller rubber tire carrier you may want to look at the new Fecon RT 230 it looks very versitile and could be pulled around by a 1ton truck.

Mr. Plotts, thank you for the information. I took a look at the machine and it's impressive. I guess the question big question is gonna be the up front cost of the machine itself. Next would be parts availability since the carrier is made overseas.
I really am not in the market for a new machine. This would not be something for me to do full time to start with due to other obligations. I'm still in the research stage trying to see if I could justify purchasing a used machine plus checking out the competition.
On another note, we are located in south Georgia and have a few thousand acres of timberland in various stages of growth. If you were in the need of a area to do demonstrations I would be more than happy to accommidate you. The place is just off of interstate 75 and would be easy for persons wanting to view a demonstration to locate. If this is something you wish to consider then I'll be happy to PM you my contact information.
