MX6 weights 1041 pounds, blades spin at 17,416 ft/min (198 MPH)
RC2072 weights 694 pounds, blades spin at 14955 ft/min (170 MPH)
The weight of the "stuff that spins" (blades, pan, etc) is not given but I suspect it's heavier on the MX6. So part of the cut difference might just be heavier stuff spinning faster. I have no idea on the aerodynamics of the decks.
