Ford 4000 "Dual Range"?

When someone refers to a Ford 4000 as having "Dual Range" are they referring to the Select O Speed?

i would tend to think of a twin stick 8spd.

ie, a 4 spd with a high low .. that's the first thing that comes to mind.

if it was a larger machine I'd think 'dual power'

I agree with soundguy i would think it would mean 8 speed trans or dual power and the 4000 didn't come with dual power

I believe it means that it has a transmission with a high and low range.
