Ford 1900 injector pump oil

I have a Ford 1900 and no manual.

What oil is used in the "Oil Plug" fill on the injector pump?

This is the first injector pump I've seen that has an oil cap on it!

Typically injection pumps with self contained oil reservoirs will take motor oil(whatever the engine takes) and should be changed when engine oil is changed. There will be a drain plug on the bottom and a level plug about a third the way up on the side of the pump housing.

common on inline pumps or non fuel lubed pumps like the rotary used on some fords.. etc.

put crankcase oil in there. like 15w40 c rated.. etc.
