Not too shabby considering it was 6" high. 20190424_184431.jpg20190424_184421.jpg

How much of a pain was it to mount the mower?

On a scale of 1 to 10? About 6 curse words. LOL.

Not that bad really. It was my first time mounting it, so the curse words were due to stupid mistakes like forgetting to take the PTO shaft cover off the transmission BEFORE I slid the deck under the tractor. I also realized it is a LOT easier to connect the PTO shaft by reaching under the REAR of the tractor instead of the side. I was busting my ribs on the deck trying to reach around in front of the tire. Then I realized I only had the quick hitch on the back. So I just reached right in from behind and Yahtzee.

Removal time was 2 or 3 minutes, tops.

Next time I put it on it'll be cake. Probably 3 or 4 minutes total.

Looks good! I just need a day without rain when I’m off work to use mine for the first time mowing.

The deck is indeed a drive over deck, just not advertised that way. The deck has heavy gauge steel over the pulleys and wings for the front tires to bite on when driving over. I have personally drove over my deck for two years during the mowing season about every other week with no problems

While it may be engineered as such, I was told directly by RK (both a local salesman as well as their corporate support) that it is not and should not be driven over.
All that really means is, if you drive over it and DO damage something, they're not going to cover it under warranty.

I completely agree, use your equipment as you see fit.
