It finally dried out enough for me to make a couple passes around the bean-field yesterday. I was impressed.
Set the PTO to Indep, 540E, and ran it at about 1800 RPM. I was cutting 4' marsh grass and heavy weed growth in 4th gear, range 2, and the tach never budged of 1800 RPM the whole time. On my '65 Ford gas 2000, I would've been in 1st gear, running 1600 RPM (540 PTO), and it would've bogged down to near stalling in the grassiest stuff.
I love this tractor!
I also picked up a 6' skid-steer QT utility bucket for use on snow this winter. It's about twice the volume of the standard bucket, and has a bolt-on 3/4" x 6" reversible cutting edge. I actually look forward to snow removal this year!
