Swapped out Fecon double carbite teeth with a set of eagle claw teeth. There now is a noticable increase in vibration. There is a 1 lbs. differance in tool weight. Any advice?

I would have thought , putting on a full set would have had no effect . But it may now need 1lb of steel stock welded to the counterweights on the rotor . Maybe a 1/2lb on each end , the correct way though would be to have the rotor re-balanced .
Are you sure all the new teeth weight the same? You might need to ask someone who works at on on fecons how they are balanced. They may use a heavy tooth because it helps fine balancing. Balancing itself is a fine art on these units.
Talked to fecon about balancing the drum they were helpful - did some shade tree dynamic balancing ended up welding on about a 1/2 lbs. weight to the left side which removed the excess vibration. All in all happy with the chipper teeth performance on the ASV PT 100 forestry
