fdot question on annual vehic inspection form

Up untill now i havn't handled our florida DOT stuff in the office 'full time' I've helped out on some of the stuff here and there.. but now as of about 10 minutes ago.. looks like it's another 'pile' on my plate to take care of. Other person has been letting some stuff slide and now the fires lit.

ok.. I know we have vehicle annual inpsection forms for our trucks ( i've had to order them before , now and again....e tc.. ).. question.. are these for only the trucks or 'tractors' int he case of tractor trailer? or does the trailer need a seperate from/inspection, and thus the peel n stick proof on the trailer .

Next.. what is the penalty ( fine? fee? ) if pulled over by DOT and a vehicle does not have the AI form? IE.. is it a 100$ fine.. or a 1000$ fine.

I'm getting ready to order our forms.. and need to know if I need them overnight or regualr mail we are near an interstate and in a 'high revenue enforcement area ' . Thus trying to figure if I need to ground a few vehicles till i can get them trucks inspected .. or if it is a negligible fine. a couple hundreed we could deal with. a few thou? nope!

i'm sifting thru other un-done junk fromt he otehr person so am swamped at the moment. getting our blanket permit renewed right now as well.

The inspection is federal- FHWA and there is a form for each vehicle.
It must have an approved sticker with month and year and a copy of the approved inspection sheet with each vehicle. (Manifest box on trailer)
I haven't done the inspection in years but did thousands back when I did.
I stopped to see a friend last friday and chit-chatted with him while he inspected a tractor and trailer. You need a tire tread depth gage too.
