I created several codes , was able to read and reset codes as well as clear history ( used the HD OBD [TRUCK] DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION)

Have a EML327-wifi code reader/reset on order Intend to test run with toque pro on phone , looking into computer based code reading software...

I have the torque app and an elm327 wifi adapter. I am pretty sure that I was unable to read/clear anything with torque app. I can check again tomorrow as its all handy. I would love to be able to read my LS.

Am I reading your post correctly? You were able to see/clear pcm information on the LS?

Just got my elm327 today in the mail. Downloaded torque app plus 4 others. Will try them all tomorrow and report back. kc8ehd said he used a HD truck diagnostic scanner.

And yes was able to read and reset codes , have em327 on order haven't reviewed it as of yet.....

George keep me updated haven't receive the EML327 yet ,don't know what is taking so long........will still need the cat unkeyed 9pin Deutsch to obd2 adapter .....have software installed and ready

Any J1939 code reader/reset (HD Truck code reader) tool should work just fine , don't expect other functions to work on the LS ..other than read/reset most other functions are per manufacturers potocall......

Ok, that makes sense. I was trying to see boost/EGT on my LS and I'm pretty sure I didn't try to read codes as nothing is wrong with it at this point. I will try to read codes today and report back.

Should have my EML327 soon , George is also going to test this unit ... if it's rated for J1939 it should work ... according to info at Amazon the Elm327 I ordered did work with this format
