Hello, I have a Cub Cadet 7265 with hydrostatic transmission. The other day I drove it fine onto our trailer to transport it and turned it off while in gear. When I got it to the barn and went to unload the tractor, shifted it into Neutral and it wouldn’t start. It needs to be in neutral to start. So I jostled it a bit and made sure it shifted in neutral and still nothing. Battery is fully charged. The gear shifter seems to shift fine. While the shift lever is in neutral I tried pulling it off, and the tractor tires just drag, so I believe it’s not actually in neutral. So im guessing it won’t start due to being in gear? I’m guessing there’s a neutral switch keeping me from starting it. Is there a way to bypass the neutral switch or get the tractor truely in Neutral?
