The wifie & I put in winter hours playing crib. last fall while out wandering around local mall we came across a board game called Kings Cribbage. Brought it home, excellent game, sorta like Scrabble, if you havent heard of it check it out, if you have it give your thoughts on it.My winter has been plowing snow, throwing more wood in the stove & playing crib. This years stash of wood is gone & a lot of next years.

Cribbage is one of the few "parlor" games I never learned. But my wife's favorite is Yahtzee.

when my kids where growing up we played Yahtzee a lot. When I say growing up I mean getting bigger, growing up came a long time after that.

Love to play crib, I taught My daughter to play when she was 11, basically to assist with her math skills. She has become a formidable player, improving both her math, but as well as other skills, and of course she didn't even realize it because she enjoys it so much, now if she would just have the same attitude towards cleaning her room....

Cheers

Played with my Dad when I was young. We had several fancy boards. He's long gone, nice memories......Regards, Mike

It's amazing how much "games" can teach kids. I'm sure I'll never forget the first time my youngest beat me at a game off chess. That was one excited kid, because she knew I would never "let" her win; she had to earn it.

i used to play cribbage with my father years ago. When clearing out my parents garage years ago i came upon 2 of his old sets. Now there home with me. Im in the process of teaching the wife how to play.....but with her hatred of math and limited finger and toes...well have to see how that turns out.
