Used my Enorossi BFS 180 for the first time today. A couple of thoughts:

Why cant they come up with a proper stand so it can be mounted/dismounted level? There is a kickstand for the left side, but the right side is not level. WTF. looking at some pix on the web, a guy propped his up on a pallet with a cinder block under the right side. Any home made docking station ideas will be welcomed!

This does not fit a Titan quick hitch so any hope of an easy connect is lost for me.

Once connected, it's a beast down the ditch line, but I only see myself fighting with it once or twice a year. It was pretty expensive so I hope it lasts 25 or more years.

Would love to see someone invent a heavy duty PTO boom articulated string trimmer for ditch/pond banks.

I have a First Choice sickle bar. It is the hardest implement for me to hook up.Heavy, awkward, and unstable when on the ground. But it gets easier. With time you develop a better system. For a kick stand I have a vertical pipe with several cross holes in it that slides up and down inside a short section of larger pipe with a cross hole that is welded to the mower frame. It allows me to adjust the kick stand as required with a pin through the holes. Maybe something like that would help.

This is a picture of my mower. The stand is the silver pipe sticking up on the left side. It is like an inverted "T" that drops down. Tomorrow I will go out to the field where it is sitting and get a better picture.

The way that works for me goes like this: I bring a 5' pry bar with me. A piece of pipe will work. I back in and hook up the inside (Right) lift arm first. (Note: My left lift link is the adjustable one). To line up the left lift arm with the pin I make vertical adjustments by raising or lowering the adjustable lift link and/or raising or lowering the 3ph a little. To make horizontal adjustments I use the pry bar out on the end of the cutter to rotate it forward or backward using the already connected right lift arm as a fulcrum and thus moving the outside or left pin horizontally back or forward. Some times it helps the lift the 3ph a tad to get some weight off the ground. If that doesn't work as a last resort I carefully move the tractor forward or back ward a hair. If I get out there and have forgotten the 5' bar I don't even try. I have in the past but it usually is much easier for me to go back and get the bar than to struggle w/o it.

That's funny the BFS 210 I just got has the T stand as standard. While it's not a walk in the park to hitch/unhitch, that does help. They also have a little pivot tab that takes up a lot of the opposite side weight to the T so that unhitching is possible. My biggest gripe is the outboard hay deflector flag that when upright is at perfect head height. I hit that about 4 times before I learned otherwise! Do any of you have hydraulic lift? I cannot figure out where to tap the hydraulics for it on my 955 Deere.(see hydraulics post).
