Buying Advice Correct Tractor size?

I have twenty acres of mainly pasture and a couple acre pond. trying to find the correct size tractor, i currently have a CT225 and it just seems small to what im doing. I mainly mow the fields using a 7ft flail mover, blade the road, move dirt around. and the occasional hay ride. also in the future will have the need to move around 5ft round bales of hay for the couple of cows and horse we have. any suggestions would be great. the only thing im set on is the need for the bobtach to switch between bucket and hay spike.

I,v got the 235 only diff. is a few horses.Your tractor is fine in my mind for your jobs till we get to the bale moving.I know the loader will lift it but its a long way out front and I think too much stress if it needs to be done on a regular basis.The 3 point would be prefered in my mind for moving the hay Dave

I have the CT225 and love it. When it comes to those round bales, the laoder will handle it just hang some counter weight on the 3pt. If nothing else, put that flail mower back there, you will suprised what you lift and move.

FYI, here to all. Be sure to retorque the loader frame mounting bolts to the tractor frame. There is a pretty heavy coat of paint on both tractor frame & loader mount, after a few hours use the paint can wear off and leave bolts slightly loose.

The 225 is probably marginal. So, if you have/want to go bigger. I'd say the DK40.

I'd have to say the CT335 or CT440...There both a size bigger than your tractor now, and the 440 is a few hundred pounds more than the 335...
Either one would be fine for what you described.
