compact tractors vs Regular Tractors

We got a 285 and a L3000DT Kubota 4x4. The KUBOTA has nowhere near the power or the safety. On the 285, i feel safe, im up above all that is going on on the ground, BUT, it is just 2 wheel drive, so it has its limitations. The KUBOTA will climb a mountain in 4x4 mode. Its mostly used for a small garden tractor, where as the 285 is used as an all-around workhorse.
