On the CK25HST, I only needed to cut 1.5" of the hose out to add the hose heater. At NAPA, I just asked for a 1 3/8" lower hose heater- cost be $70. I am sure there is a closer metric version, but 1.375" worked well. The hose is in an L shape with a slight dip down then up. I cut out a piece on the "incline up" section so the heat moves up into the block. Tried it today and I it works fine - heating into the block and slight warmth felt on the block side of the thermostat.
