Hello My first post!
Bought a 2006 Zetor/Century C47L last summer which is very similar to a Branson 4720i. Tractor has about 1000 hours.
Having an issue with the front right wheel locking up when first going to move the tractor after it has sat for few days. The wheel breaks free if moved back and forth using the tractors power after a few tries. Wheel seems to spin freely when both wheels are lifted off ground with the loader after being driven around a bit and moving wheel by hand. Ive driven the tractor with the brakes applied on/off to see if maybe they were sticking but the brakes seem to be working correctly as in applying drag then freeing off.
Any ideas what might be causing this condition? Its happened twice now when the temperature has been above and below freezing. First thought it was packed frozen snow inside the wheel rim stopping wheel turning but that is not the issue!
thanks and regards
Keith

Just a follow up. Took the front hub apart today. It was ice causing the issue. The oil in the front axle was full of water. It froze solid around the bevel gear. Heated with torch to help melt the ice then drained all remaining hydraulic fluid.
I still need to reassemble but that was the issue.
So lucky nothing major parts wise!
I also realized there aren’t any brakes on the front wheels. It’s my first tractor!
