I have all the standard Cat 1 pins with the swaged end (not the threaded adjustable length type) on all my equipmetn and they all work well. The width of the cat 1 pin is a little shorter that a Cat 2 but you can still get the lynch pin in on the CAT 2 ball. I have to adjust the stabilizer width narrower, but with my tractor it is just a matter of pulling a pin on each side to get the arms on then popping the pin back in where the arms are at that point. I thought all these pins were standard length for each category but perhaps some European implements are different. I have never seen a lift pin welded on, they do bend sometimes and have to be replaced like the ones on my boxblade when I hooked a tree root and bent about a 10 degree angle in one side. Sure glad it wasnt welded in.
