Hmm...my understanding is that the the front diff is geared slightly faster than the rear intentionally, not some arbitrary mistake by the manufacturer. Not sure why you'd want to adjust air pressure or tire size to defeat that?

I think this is preferable to lifting the front wheels off the ground or rolling it on its side...............just sayin.....

All you're trying to do is take the tension off the drive system. If you have an empty bucket just drop it to the ground and curl the bucket down to lift the the front wheels, or if you have a full bucket just put it on the pile or other high point and power the bucket down to lift the wheels. It takes mere seconds and releases the tension. Works every time.

The best designs only lead by 2 to 4% and when they are at that you can still engage and disengage easily. Some makes went to 6% but they had large driveline issues as well as excessive tire wear. Tire makes when changing tires even the same size can give you the same problem. Wrong air pressure is the most common problem with issues of disengagement and it should only be an occasional problem depending on loader use do to tire squash.

The designed front wheel lead will quite naturally cause a bit of "binding" feeling at times when disengaging, particularly on harder surfaces. A blip on the reverse pedal works best for me...
