I got the BX because I wanted a tractor that would go anywhere, slopes included. I have a low "oh-my-god-I'm-going-over" feel and the BX really helps. A drawback in rough ground, but I have the L35 for that stuff. Best part, if the BX gets stuck I don't have to drag it out, my L35's loader will lift it off the ground - - -well not really, with the loader and rake on the BX.

If you had rough loader work to do I'd go for a taller unit if it was your only tractor. I have had to have one for 10 acres of ditches, mowing etc etc I'd be about B2910 or L3010 size. The L35's impresses the heck out of me when I'm using the loader or digging stumps with the backhoe, but nothing gives me the smiles like the BX. It looks so cute and goofy you can't imagine it could do anything. I sure didn't believe it would do much other then let my wife move her beauty bark etc. I was sure wrong. It's a diggin' little fool.

Rich, I just bought a BX2200 last week. One thing I can say is that I have successfully turned several large puddles of water on my property into great mud ones with all the rain that we have been getting in Southern California. And even with my BX up to its axle in mud, it just keeps on going (bar tires). Very impressive.

Welcome aboard, HeliMark. You will find a lot to do with the BX. Like Del stated, there are bigger units, but the BX sure has a certain 'fun factor'. (If tractors were people, the BX would be the hyperactive kid running around /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif).

"If tractors were people, the BX would be the hyperactive kid running around."

Kind of like Bam-Bam on the older Flinstone cartoon.

Just some more pathetic ramblings.

Dave... Perfect analogy, forgot about Bam-Bam! To tell you the truth, I don't think my HST pedal was really sticking, it's just that the BX doesn't want to stop! Humm... maybe some Riddlen in the UDT /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
