I patched several wear tears on a Kubota B20 seat with liquid electrical tape. Took several applications. Can was used and probably would have dried out before used it up. Have pretty good luck with vulkem polyurethane sealant sticking to stuff.
Haven’t figured out how to mend all the holes in my welding clothes.

I've seen a guy on YouTube that used Plastidip to fill the cracks. Personally, I don't think the adhesion would last on a seat bottom. Tape will eventually leave a residue as it heats, so best to cover the repair to help protect it and your trousers.

Just reporting back after the repair has been in place for a month. I used Star brite Liquid Electrical Tape from Home Despot because it was so easy to try. Put on about 4 coats 5 minutes apart like the can said. When I put my tarp cover over the ROPS I put my knee right in the middle of the seat in order to reach. So far it is holding up fine.

Thanks for the follow-up Gordon. The seat looks good and I do hope it stays/lasts. Your knee test shows it holds against flexing for now anyhow; but your cold weather might cause different results eventually. Wishing you good luck.

I used the HF liquid electrical stuff and a small piece of canvas to cover the cut. Liquid electrical on the seat and canvas (like contact glue) press together and apply another layer of liquid electrical on top, then when that's dry one more layer of liquid to help seal the edges.
