Can you show the regs for this? Last I looked, the only cargo that required a specific tiedown was crushed cars which required cables or chains (not straps or ropes)?Under DOT rules, those are illegal for lashing cargo that traverses public highways. having said that, I use them too, foe hauling hay bales. DOT regs require 4" wide straps now.
