Bucket Bolt on Grab Hooks / Clevis Mounts

I purchased three sets of Ken's bolt on bucket grab hooks and clevis mounts. I received them a week back but hadn't really had the time to open the box and inspect the items. I opened the box this week and am really impressed with the quality of the items. I was able to mount the two pairs aligned with the bucket arms this week but due to weather have yet to mount the last pair in the center. Mounting was straight forward; basically drill four holes, spray paint then use the supplied bolts and tighten the assemblies down. Hopefully I'll get to installing the last pair sometime over the weekend if the weather cooperates. Initial impressions are good. The center pair will only be used for one off light loads while the two in line with the lift arms will be used for heavier lifting.

I need to put something on my tractor to help lifting stuff. I currently have a large flat rock that's too bulky to properly get in to the bucket. Also for general lifting of stuff like my brush mower I need to work on. I have a Mahindra 1635L, any suggestions as to what would be needed to set up for chain, which is mostly 3/8". I'd also like to be able to use lifting straps to load/unload my fuel tank. Any suggestions for that loader? Thanks.

I started with hooks and chains, but soon graduated to a forklift attachment. So much easier, and more useful. I have grab hooks on either side of the bucket in line with the curl cylinders, and one clevis hook welded in the middle. As handy as they are, I rarely use them since adding the fork attachment.

I don't use them. If I'm lifting something I put the forks on. I can't see a thing I'm lifting with that huge bucket.

I was out today abusing my poor little tractor using it for some grubbing, mostly old growth palmettos. I came upon a flat boulder. It was easier to use the FEL bucket and a chain than go switch out to the forks, which I have and with a clevis hook attachment. Poor little thing barely was able to lift the thing. It would have been much easier with hooks on the bucket. I guess I just have to figure out which hook setup to get. Had to use the hoe to sort of walk the boulder out of the woods. It wouldn't lift it but I could walk it out by flipping it end over end. Once I got it out on the flat surface I could chain it to the FEL bucket. Hooks would have made it easier, I think. I'm sure the forks are more practical for most uses.
