I want some snow! I painted a 6' King Kutter Professional Rear Blade (Medium Duty, which was a faded yellow with rust spots) and the SpeeCo Quick Hitch, which was red, JD green. Can't wait for some snow.:D

Are you planning on pushing the snow going backwards avoiding running over it first with the tractor? Just curious.

That's the way I've always done it for the last 2 winters, push it backwards. I know all about the twisting around in the seat and sore neck and so on and so on.... If I lived in upstate New York or other very heavy and very frequent snow areas I would probably get the front mounted snowblower but they are very pricey. This blade was less than $500 and for the amount and frequency of snow I get It will do the job just fine. It's just not worth it, to me, to buy a front or rear mounted blower.

Agree, the front blowers are nice and pricy. For about 1/2 the money ($1000), a front blade works extremely well. If you ever get a chance to try one you might like that option.

Sweeeeet setup... though you're a little to eager for me for the snow to come. I'd much rather admire a shiny clean machine sitting in my garage... rather than sitting on the cold seat in the middle of a blizzard ;) . Though I'll admit... it makes it a little more fun when you have a tool like that :) Thanks for the pics....

Nice set up and I agree, bring on the white stuff. Can't wait for the first flurries to show up. The colder the better (please don't hex me :) ).
