1985 Ford 3910
I have to replace a brake rod seal on a 1985 Ford 3910 and I went to look at the gear oil level plug and it looks like it has some kind of whatchamacallit threaded in to it. Is this is some kind of bleeder that I can use to check oil level without having to remove the whole thing? In other posts and videos there was just a square head bolt in this location.

Once I have the seal replaced, what's the recommendation on the gear oil to fill it up? I do not have a manual yet but I am ordering one in short order. I have to take care of this seal right away though.

I'm a new tractor owner so I am just learnin' here. Thanks in advance for any help.

It's hydraulic oil. Replace both sides on the seals, each side of tractor.

Did some more looking around -- would the oil be: NEW HOLLAND AGRICULTURE | MultiGrade 134™ Hydraulic Transmission Oil - SAE 10W-30

Thanks
3910s have wet brakes which is one of the requirements for Premium Trans-Hydraulic-Differential fluid. J-20C spec in the specs called out on the rear of the container is what I look for.
