I have a 2014 Boomer 24 with a slow leak on the left front axle, see pics. It just leaks when sitting for awhile. How hard is this to fix?

Based on your headline I pictured this

Your effort to replace seals depends on your mechanical aptitude and availability of shop tools.

I have the tools but I have never replaced an axle seal on a tractor? I thought it may be a vent stopped up or it may have just been over filled by the previous owner? I have owned and used the tractors for 6 months, over 100 hours without any leaks at all. Then the tractor has sit for 2 months and it started leaking?

I've not done that repair. Your vent must be on the other side. What I can tell you is on mine, I would get seepage from the vent itself. I think from the factory they just fill with the hydro oil. After I changed the oil (GL4 SAE 80W), I didn't have an issue. Mine, I would clean up and monitor the level. Always check it cold and level. An actual leak on a front axle VS a minor seepage would be where I would get some parts and repair. Or if in question, change the oil. It takes ~ 3 liters.

Thanks, that gives me an optimistic feeling about it! It's a 2014 with and only has about 650 hours on it. It never leaks while working? It leaks after it sits for awhile?

See this thread for a similar issue on an LS. Ignore the title. Start at post #47 where I post the diagrams of the front end. Post #52 he fixed it.

WM75Guy, Thank You! That looks like what I need and thanks for the short cut through that post! I am going to try the fluid change first.

Clean it and put it at the proper level before you do anything else.

They all weep their eventually I've seen all brands do it usually in the winter time is when they leak more often because of the shrinkage It's actually an easy repair check YouTube there's videos around on this fix.

The key with getting the proper level is patience. Fill it. Walk away. Fill it. Take it for a spin. Walk away. Rinse and repeat. You may also find that it doesn't like to be filled to the upper line.
