We've decided we're selling our place due to my new job being 70 miles away. I've been commuting about 53 miles (one way) for the last 5 years so gas has been eating my account for sure. So, after a bunch of crazy thoughts, we have decided to move to the city of my new job. I know I'll be kicking myself in the rear end the minute we sell (if the Lord brings us a buyer). I'm lucky that I'm not in a hurry. My oldest kid won't start kindergarten for another year. Right now, I'll need the tractors and some implements until the place sells but keep your eyes on the classifieds for the following: JD 350 sickle bar 9'; 4 shank Hay-King pasture renovator; bush hog post hole digger w/9" and 12" augers; 6' Tufline box blade; Tractor supply sub soiler. I plan on offering these items here to my tractor buddies prior to listing elsewhere.
The sad thing is that homes in the college town we're moving to are very pricey. Not apparently affected by this economy. The only good things are that the interest rates are down and I have a job for now.
I'm not too sure about anything except I don't look forward to moving all my stuff.
PS, if anyone is interested in 25 acres that looks like a park, PM me...
