20 ton HF press with 5" locking casters on all four corners.

The caster base is two pieces of 3/4" plywood .. laminated for a sturdy base.

Nice! Those are "total" lock aren't they? Swivel AND rolling?

Yes sir. That's all I've used for a long time. If you don't lock the swivel .. you still get movement.

Just look at technology now as to say when we we say 10 yo and try to think how it changed every 10 years. Imagine being a 10 yo old now. We can image what will be their day to day tech come our age.

Every time we have a wheeling event in our timber the kids always end up at the phone booth. I also have a Toilet at the camp ground. Kids get excited about using it.

I am not going to. I have it on a wood floor in my lean too and it's easy enough to move when I need to about every 18 month's

Mine weighs about 1300lbs and its top heavy, no way I'm sliding that around!

I was going to put it on casters but figure I'll just move it with the forklift when need be.

I'm not sure what mine weighs ....

but when I built it I machined rollers out of heavy walled 2 inch pipe....

It is easily moved by two NFL players or me with this pry bar....

Yep... with my cramped shop almost everything including my press is on casters. Even my tall metal storage cabinets. About the only thing that is not, is my solid wood work bench.

I just have a small 20 ton press. My neighbor has a 50 ton press and he gave me the code to his shop. The joys of living in a close community where we all know each other.
