Best lubricant for moving parts of cattle squeeze

I bought a used Powder River cattle squeeze. It is in good working condition functionally, but has rust in places and moving parts need some lubrication. We are removing rust and will repaint those areas where appropriate, but I am wondering what would be the best choice to lubricate the moving parts and reduce friction. I am thinking WD-40, or a teflon product for some parts, and maybe even grease for other parts. Suggestions will be appreciated. Not the most earthshaking issue, but just wondering.

I use anti-seize on pivot points that are subject to the elements. It is less prone to washing away and provides a protective coating that resists corrosion.

Been using blaster silicone spray. You may have to apply it more than grease or something else of a similar consistancy but it doesn't pick up garbage like grease does so I would rather apply it once every two weeks with a few squirts than break it down clean off the muddy grease and start over. Some places grease is what is needed. I use the silicone on all my door bushings and hinges, all my tractor pins that blindly slide, clutch bushings in my truck, any place I would prefer not to collect dust and grit.

On the sliding pieces I like wax, it doesn't hold dirt and dust manure slides off and it doesn't build up.

A lanolin based product/spray will suffice.

I don't believe that WD40 and like products will give you any
lubrication.
Maybe check out some of the silicone sprays???
