Thank you Wanda for coming on here and relating the details about his death. He will be missed and I loved his stories of long ago about cougars and bears and people/horses/mules and so much more. When he was a town cop was hilarious stuff. He wasn't feeling good enough to write very much anymore about his "Adventurers". He will be missed. thanks you again.

Wanda, sorry for your loss. We will all miss Jim's updates, his humor and sharing his life stories and struggles. I was surprised how hard it hit me when I read about Jim's passing when catching up on TBN this morning. As others have mentioned, Jim was "real" and shared openly.

This Thread was one of the first I followed after joining. I found it so honest and interesting that I couldn't stop reading and looked forward to each post. I will truly miss Jim's unique outlook on life and his kindness to the critters he so loved. He made sure he had dog seed and bird seed before he worried about people seed to feed himself. We are all better for knowing Crash.

Again thanks for all the responses. To Dragoneggs ( I maybe didn't get that correct) Thanks for reply about book. Medical examiner ruled that death was due to smoke inhalation. My sister and I have no knowledge of a book he may or may not have been writing. Probably not but it would have been on his computer, which burned, and we don't have any passwords to try to access his online accounts. He also wrote on some other threads on this site. We didn't didn't give out information about him for an obituary and I guess Funeral home didn't either. Hardly anyone in Tucson knew him. I will eventually put article local Tombstone News paper. On the news there was one line in passing on one of the tv stations that only said a fatality in a house fire had occurred in Three Points area. My friend saw it and told me didn't know if it was my brother. Told him probably was. But it only ran one time. Also I couldn't find anything in newspaper or news sites for Tucson area. Wanda, Jim sure had a loyal following on here and I wish I would have had the chance to meet him in person. I am sure his pain is gone and he has joined the other Riders in the Sky. He was truly One-of-a-Kind and is missed.

With his military service isn't Jim eligible for the plaque Honoring his service.
Also are you the sister that used to work at Cliff N. Mex. grocery store.
Have friends in that area.

Thank you Wanda, Jim will truly be missed, his stories about his youth paralleled my youth, he was just a down to earth kind of guy.
