b3030 fel snow plow

wow, what a pain trying to get a fel plow for snow, also need bobcat style quick attach for a b3030. have been talking to srs, hes been very helpful, but i live in Wi and he bought in Pa. is there any Wi. boys out there that have this set up? from what i gathered u have to have bobcat style quick attach fabricated which totally blows!!!!!!!! kubota needs to offer this!!!!!!!!! as u can tell iam at the end of my rope, guess i should just buy a bobcat and be done with it, but their ct335w/factory cab is just 2 big for my needs. not really big on after market cabs for ct235,what to do?:confused2:

Kubota makes a Bobcat style qick attack for your loader. For the B-3030 it would probably be around 2-3-- bucks.

You don't need to have an SSQA custom made...... just order one from site sponsor ATI. You may want a QA style plow, but you won't want one made specifically for a skidsteer, as will likely be very heavy.

I've never seen one manufactured by Kubota. I can't see any reason your dealer couldn't get one from ATI. My local dealer does this, and credits you the amount for the factory bucket so the aftermarket bucket to fit the SSQA is less money (my dealer will usually spec a Woods brand bucket with the SSQA). Perhaps you should talk to a different Kubota dealer?

Hey Tony, are you talking to just one Kubota dealer or do you have several in your area? I've heard excellent reports about Barlow Barlow Equipment - Home of the Kubota Tractor Package Builder I'd give them a call and see what they have to say, can't hurt. Plus they deliver all over. JOHNTHOMAS has bought (I believe) 10 tractors from him and they deliver all over.

My son has a B2620, not sure of the loader number. but kubato makes a Quick attach that fits many loaders in the B series. then you can get a plow from WR long. The dealer, we use, at first said they didn't make one for that particular loader, but my son said he had seen one. the deaker thought about it and said yes if would fit. He then ordered the pin type quick attachment, and the plow. Many of these dealer don,t always think, about what will fit other piece of equipment etc. They get use to standard setup etc and look no further. I have seen this myself same dealer. I have a BX 2360. had seen the rear remotes added to a BX. went in and asked, price etc. His comment to my was, I always forget how inexpensive the option is. and doesn't bring it up at the time of the sale of the tractor. so I would go back to the dealer and ask about the Quick attach that Kubota makes.
I don't know if they are a Dealer for WR long, but they are out there to.

Tony, I own a B3030 and considered going to the skidsteer type quick attach, the downside is that style adds a lot of weight which takes away from the fel. There are blades, pushers, etc. available for the Kubota pin type quick attach. W.R. Long as mentioned makes several styles and I think there are other manufactors that will build the pin type. I have the Kubota pin type and have been happy but have not added any blade or other attachment. In Kentucky the front bucket and rear blade have worked well for our snowfalls.

I know that when I got my L3830 it was not QA but I ordered one and it wasn't all that heavy. Now I have an M-5040 and I bent it, when I picked up the replacement it didn't weight more than 150 lbs. Its heavy now because I bent it again so I had the hollow tube replace with a solid piece of stress proof rod.

hello, thx for all the info! i have been talking to different dealers and i just need to be more patient with mine because he is new at this, plus no one has asked for these kind of options. my driveway is 300ft, it gets to 65ft wide then goes to 40ft wide and back to 65ft at the road. talked to a few guys that have bent thier fels by plowing, it makes me think real hard about that option!! i am back to the fel w/bucket and the 63in blower, i have been looking so long that it became no fun no more. so i am just going to the plan of blower and fel and my excitment came back real fast!!! going with what feels good, talk soon, tony
