2006 ASV RC100 & '06 Kubota R520S
I recently bought a 2006 ASV RC100. Only one of the front lights work on the front. I got to looking into it more and when I pulled out the other lights out the bulbs were not connected to the harness plug. There are 2 prongs that plug into a plastic/ceramic looking piece/plug. They will not stay plugged in, and the prongs seem to push down into the light bulb rather that going into the plug.

If I bought new bulbs would the prongs be stiff and not move?

Is there anwhere to buy them except for the dealership?

Does anyone make an aftermarket or led conversion?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks, Mike

buy a box of them and keep em handy...they will need changing quite frequently...they also generate ALOT of heat...so if they get crooked or come halfway out dont use them or you WILL melt the plastic console that they are in...and its NOT fun to change...trust me...

Yes i've noticed they are the same as some landscaping lighting. That is good!! I don't have any to replace yet but when I do I will be visiting LOWES!!

Is there a trick to get the halogen lights installed inside of the rubber gasket? Everytime I try to get one in the bulb pops out of the gasket. If I install the gasket and try to push the bulb in the gasket unseats....I'm thinking about 'gorilla gluing' the gasket....any relevant suggestions appreciated....

Don't use the 50 watt bulbs, use 20 watt or you'll melt the console & wiring (experience talking). The additional heat will also cause the bulbs to fall out of the rubber grommet.
It's easier to put the bulb in the grommet before reinstalling in the console.

Try some soapy water on the rubber grommets
