I have been researching backhoe attachments for my 2002 TC-40 and have narrowed my selection down to either a Woods BH90-X or a Wallenstein GX720 or GX920. I want a hydraulic thumb, subframe mount, hydraulics attached to the tractor and these three models do offer all of these features.
The dealers here in the Central Valley of California seem to be pro Woods from the stand point that I haven't found one who although they are a Wallenstein dealer, have actually fitted one to a New Holland TC series tractor. I have to add that I'm not that comfortable in being the first one to give it a go. I do own a Wallenstein BX42 chipper and the design, craftsmanship and useability have exceeded my expectations but that is an easily sold, no brainer 3-pt attachment.
I've been in touch with MDD on this forum and he has been an absolute wealth of information on the TC-40/Woods BH90-X combination, thank you, MDD.
Does anyone have a Wallenstein GX920 or a GX720?
