Anyone recognise this old car grille?

You might want to see what it is worth to someone trying to restore one.

On the other hand, it would make an interesting piece to hang on a big wall.

Xfaxman you are a champ. I googled every brand I could think of including Morris but somehow I missed this one.

Considering the complete disintegration of the body, except for a small corner of the windscreen, I wonder if it was perhaps a ute (pickup) or flat top. Even the ute on the trailer here shows that the grille is likely to be the last part to go.

The grille was half buried in the sand and broke into a few pieces as I retrieved it. I tried welding it but it instantly popped and fizzled like foam. I wound up simply gluing it back together using liquid nails and timber strips in the grooves behind the bars.

Yes it will make a nice piece of outdoor art. I intend to mount it on the outside of the garage.

Yes it will make a nice piece of outdoor art. I intend to mount it on the outside of the garage.

Too bad it didn't stay intact. I was thinking it would make a cool headboard for a bed if you were decorating in kind of an "art deco" style.
