i've got a 1998 jd770 with a woods 7500 backhoe on it. the hoe has it's own seat, but it's always in the way. even with the hoe seat in it's lowest position it hits the back of the tractor seat, and often keeps it from contacting the seat safety switch, stalling me out when i'm trying to reposition the tractor without turning the pto pump off.
i'm thinking maybe some sort of captain's chair swivel that will lock in place for forward and rearward facing positions, and also relocate the seat tracks back a little to help get it closer to the hoe, and totally remove the woods seat? i'm fairly short and i tend to use the tractor seat in its farthest back setting as it is.
am i the only one with this problem?
