Any interest in a backhoe for M7040??

I have a situation where I'm looking at a M7040 with a backhoe for sale near me (PA/DE area), but since I already have a full size backhoe, I don't want/need the backhoe attachment. Would like to buy knowing I can unload the backhoe beforehand. Any interest, PM me. Seller won't sell tractor sans backhoe.

I know what they sell for new but you'd have to be ready to part with it for about five to make it go away.

That's a little less than I had hoped. Someone told me $10K new. This one is like brand new. Only has 56 documented hours on it.

Ditto. I paid $5k for my BH6000...1/4 the capabilities of this backhoe.

Not sure that $10k is the right number either, though. Used is used...as in, not new.

The problem here is The Beanie Baby dilemma...we can talk all day about its real value, but finding someone willing to pay the ~$8k it is worth is the tricky part.

It sounds odd, but if your local (or some relatively nearby) dealer happens to be consigning a tractor that this unit fits on, perhaps having the BH as an "option" to said tractor would have some appeal...

If its any help, a BH was considered for my M7040 when it was purchased.

Backhoe M4011V: $13511
Mount M4012: $ 2229

Instead I decided to get a dedicated BH in an L48. Much beefier hydraulic pump as well. 11 gpm vs. almost 20 gpm. So it cost me another $10K.

Hopefully, I will be going to look at it sometime this weekand I'll get some photos. He said it was a Kubota backhoe, but I will have to verify that.

Woods backhoe.
Prolly worth $5,000 according to dealer. I think it said "MX-90" on it. Still has plastic on it. Looks brand new, has perfect Kubota orange paint job.....

They are all of that new. The toughest thing for us with used backhoe's has finding an interested party at the right time! That is the hardest part of selling. When you get up to high they can buy an older 580 case 555 or deere for ten or less and have a whole TLB unit and not have to take the hoe off for other work..
